RPU-4A1G1

Ka-Band Reconfigurable Transceiver

Overview

The Ka-Band Reconfigurable Transceiver is full-duplex, multi-channel satellite communications processor designed for the space environment. Operating over commercial and defense Ka-band frequencies, it supports standard modulation and coding schemes, including DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X, with support for on-orbit reconfiguration. Modulation, demodulation, and coding algorithms are performed in a state-of-the-art FPGA processor. As a multi-channel transceiver, the unit supports four transmit and four receive channels, allowing for applications with multiple polarizations, multiple antennas, or multi-beam apertures.
